TFA have performed different tasks at BP’s Pinkenba bitumen terminal. From detailed design for process changes for the PMB (Polymer Modified Bitumen) plant, to the ten-year turn-around maintenance projects for tank T3120.
TFA undertook the detailed design and project management of a new bitumen blower unit system (including miscellaneous terminal upgrades). Part of the project works include the upgrade of the fire system, in which a new CO2 gas system was designed for the blower unit, new hydrant lines and additional fire alarm detection system in the new MCC.
