Things are done differently here. As Business Development Director, I work to ensure we deliver a level of professionalism, attention to detail and client focus; however also ensuring our approach is one of warmth and accessibility.

My background is as a partner in a major regional law firm and as a lecturer at university. I am not an Architect, but I made the move to Skyring Architects because I saw enormous potential in the way architecture and client relationships were being approached.

We have an open door policy here which belies the traditional imposing facade of many architectural firms. We encourage people to simply call to ask advice or gain some direction. We also talk with people, not at them. That’s critical. Our Clients have to feel they are part of the process and their ideas are respected.
