Interhouse Sports
There are eight houses at Iona, which all honour an Oblate Missionary. Spread throughout the entire year, all students represent their house in a variety of sports and activities so as to compete for the Oblate Trophy.

Sport plays a central role in the positive development of the young men, alongside spirituality, academics, music and other co-curricular activities.
Participation in sports teaches invaluable lessons that complement those learnt in the classroom. Team building, cooperation, self-discipline, fairness to others and respect are integral elements of Iona’s sporting program.
